Create a bootable pen drive using UNetBootin in Ubuntu 20.04

UNetbootin is a handy tool to create bootable pen drive in Linux.

Install tool from terminal using following command

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gezakovacs/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install unetbootin

Now navigate to start menu and open the UNetbooting, after opening –

Step 1.1 – Select OS iso image

Step 1.2 – Select pendrive

Step 1.3 – Click on OK

Alternatively, you can directly download ISO images from the web and make a bootable pen drive.

Step 1.1 – Select “Distribution”

Step 1.2 – Select “Version”

Step 1.3 – Select Pen drive

Step 1.4 – Click ok

Step 1.5 – On completing close the window, and remove the pen drive or cd. This live pen drive or CD will be used to install any OS.
